Recommended Podcast: The Joe Rogan Experience
One of the best podcasts out there. Joe Rogan takes listeners on a free form conversation with guests that include MMA fighters, comedians, scientists, academics, influencers, public figures etc. Previous guests have included Alex Jones of Info Wars; Neil deGrasse Tyson, astrophysicist and Director of the Hayden Planetarium at the Rose Center for Earth and Space in NYC; Ron Miscavige, father of David Miscavige who runs the Church of Scientology; Milo Yiannopoulis, former senior editor for Breitbart News; Aubrey Marcus, founder of Onnit.com; Whiney Cummings, stand-up comic; and Leah Remini, former Scientology member and actress just to name a few. Virtually no one is outside the realm of possibility to sit down and shoot the shit with Joe Rogan.
The podcast usually follows a long form conversation format. Joe Rogan sits in with the individual and they talk about what ever they desire. Generally, the guest will be asked about their field of expertise and the conversation is improvised from there. The individuals are extremely knowledgable in their study and one can learn quite a bit from the conversation. Rogan is a truth seeker and will not let fact-less statements be preached over his airways.
This podcast allows one to be a fly on the wall with individuals who are pushing the limits within their sphere and it can benefit all who listen. There are times where Rogan and his guests will get to a point in conversation that paints a picture for an ideal world- how stupid some of the laws that govern are, why people think they way they do, everyone following their passions etc. and it can offer inspiration for whatever endeavors you may be looking to pursue.
You may need a large block of time set aside to listen to one of the episodes front to back seeing as they usually run well over two hours in length but don't let that sway you from delving into learning a bit about a topic you didn't know too much about.
